Loving, Authentic Relationships

God has accepted us—fallen, self-centered, sin-polluted creatures.  Out of His grace and mercy, He has come to our rescue through the cross.  We must reflect His compassionate acceptance of people about us as well as one another.  Many people in our culture feel they have to be perfect to come to Christ or even to church.  As leaders and members we will grow in being transparent and confessional about where we are and where we are not in our Christian walk.

Social Justice

Every Christian fellowship as a body of Christ should come to the aid of those who are unable to help themselves, the orphaned, widowed, poor, homeless, hungry, illiterate, etc.  We are to stand to defend them and enable them to stand to, in turn, enable others.

Relevant Ministry

As we communicate God’s Word and love to our culture we will remain doctrinally pure yet culturally relevant.

Inspiring Worship

Our Creator deserves that we would be in awe of Him.  The worship services are designed to reflect the majesty of God that Christ-followers and seekers would see God as He is, love Him, and have a growing relationship with Him.

Relaxed Gatherings

We are intentional about not being “religious.”  Casual dress is welcomed.  God can be worshiped and revered  in blue jeans.  It may even help people relax and be freer to worship.

Devotion to Christ

Jesus described the normal Christian life as a life devotedly connected to Him as a branch is connected to the Vine.  The continual challenge will be made for Christians to be daily reading God’s Word, the Bible, and loving and being loved by God as we pray to Him and for others.

Lifestyle Evangelism

As Christ’s representatives, He calls us to have reflect Christ and bring hope to those about us.  We must live our lives to effect transformation of our culture as we serve them and love them to Jesus Christ.

Small Group Ministry

Life change happens best in small group Bible studies (community groups) where there is accountability, belonging and caring for one another.
