The mission of Blue Ridge Community Church is to lead people to a deepening relationship with Jesus Christ and one another.

We will develop

intimacy with God,

community with one another and

bring hope to our world.

Lead

Evangelism and the making of disciples is the focus of this word.  Through worship and lifestyle evangelism we hope to help people accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

Deepening relationship with Jesus Christ

The second part of the Great Commission is the focus of this phrase.  After we lead them to Christ, we need to teach them His Word and help them to grow in intimacy with Him.  We want to help them keep the Great Commandment by loving God with all their heart, mind, soul and strength.

One another

Jesus said the second greatest commandment is to love our neighbor as we love ourselves.  He also stated that this world would know that we are His disciples by or because of our love for one another.  Loving relationships in the church fellowship are the best billboard available.

Bring hope to our world
