Our Beliefs

  1. The 66 books of the Bible are verbally inspired of God, are Inerrant in the original writing, and are the supreme and final authority in faith and life (2 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Timothy 3:15-17).
  2. There is one God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19).
  3. Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary (Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:35) and is true God (1 Timothy 2:5; Philippians 2:7-8) and true man (John 1:14-18).
  4. Man was created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27), and that he sinned (Romans 3:23) and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death (Romans 6:23), which is separation from God (Ephesians 2:1-2).
  5. The Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as our representative and substitutionary sacrifice (Isaiah 53:5-6; 2 Corinthians 5:21) and that all who believe in Him are made right with God by His shed blood (Romans 5:9; Ephesians 1:7; 1 Peter 1:18-19).
  6. There was a resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord (Luke 24:1-6; 1 Peter 1:3); He then ascended into heaven (Acts 1:11): and His present life is now there for us as High-Priest, Intercessor, and Advocate (Hebrews 7:25).
  7. The personal, bodily, and visible: return of Jesus Christ is imminent (Matthew 25:13; John 14:3; Acts 1:1 1; Revelation 1:7; Revelation 22:12).
  8. All who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again in the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God (John 1:12; John 3:3-8; Acts 4:12; Titus 3:5-7).
  9. There is a bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, and everlasting blessedness of the saved and a conscious everlasting punishment of the lost (Daniel 12:2; Matthew 25:41; John 5:29).
  10. A true believer (John 5:24) is eternally secure (John 10:28-29), he cannot lose his salvation (2 Timothy 1:12); but sin may interrupt the joy of his fellowship with God (Psalm 51:12) and bring the loving discipline (Hebrews 12:5-11) of His heavenly father.
  11. The Holy Spirit is a person, is God and possesses all the divine attributes. He dwells in all believers, baptizes and seals all believers at the time of their salvation, and fills them in response to confession of sin and yieldedness (Genesis 1:2; John 14: 15-18; John 16:7-16; Ephesians 1:13 Ephesians 5:18).
  12. It is the goal of every Christian to grow in spiritual maturity through obedience to the Word of God and the indwelling Holy Spirit (Romans 12:1-2; 2 Timothy 2:15; 2 Timothy 3:16-17).
  13. It is the responsibility of each believer to discover and use their spiritual gifts to glorify God and build up others to reach the world for Christ (Romans 12:4-8; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11; Ephesians 4:11-13, 1 Peter 4:10).
  14. A church that aspires to be a true reflection of the body of Christ will care for the poor, the sick, the jailed, the downtrodden, orphans and widows.  (Isaiah 58:6-9; Isaiah 61:1-3; Matthew 25:31-46; James 1:26-27)
